Pleased to see that the university is actively reaching out to secondary school students to foster an interest in the STEM subjects.

QuoteWatch: Prince Charles Shows Off His Fast Reactions in Navy Test  (VIDEO)

The years may have rolled by but the Prince of Wales has shown he still has the reactions that made him a Navy pilot.

When he came across a machine normally used to train the hand-eye co-ordination of athletes, during a visit to a engineering fair for teenagers, Charles sprang into action.

Despite wearing his trademark double-breasted suit, he stretched quickly to the right and then left, tapping out lights on the machine in quick succession as they appeared.

The Prince was touring the Big Bang fair at the University of Essex in Colchester, one of around 100 similar events held every year by the organisation Engineering UK to give young people a taster of careers in technology, science, maths and engineering.
