Princess Charlene and Prince Albert Step Out at Charity Gala in Los Angeles

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco stepped out in California last night mere hours after it was revealed that they are expecting twins.

The royal couple were attending the Princess Grace Foundation's cocktail reception in Los Angeles, where they mingled with the likes of Jerry Bruckeimer, Mel GIbson and Sylvester Stallone.

Charlene, 36, who is due by the end of the year, wore a loose-fitting sequinned top and black trousers to the event in honor of her husband's late mother.

As she turned side-on to chat to the party's host Linda Bruckheimer, Charlene displayed a hint of baby bump - much smaller than one might expect it to look at six months along, perhaps because of her tall 5ft 10in stature.
