So good to see!  One can tell he is still recovering, and hopefully it will continue to go well.  What a scare this has been for the family and Denmark.

He has always been lean but he has lost more weight.  The unshaven scruff doesn?t help.  But nice to see him up.

  :xmas4:  :xmas22:  : Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Princes Nikolai, Felix, Henrik and Princess Athena out to cut down their Christmas tree. Very cute scene at the end as Henrik helps his older brothers bring the tree up the steps.

Reportedly Queen Margrethe and Prince Joachim's family will be together for the Christmas Eve service tomorrow. CP Fredrik and family will be in Copenhagen for their holiday.

Like their peers in Europe, Asia and  the Middle East the Danish royals had to adapt to a new way of conducting royal duties. It was also especially challenging with Prince Joachim's health issues. Queen Margrethe definitely has an artistic side and she enjoys her creative past times. These opportunities to spend time with her family must mean so much to all of them.

Queen Daisy is another monarch who just keeps on going and going. She usually has a beaming smile as well. The DRF really love their summer holidays at Grasten (no wonder!) and hopefully it will be the same this year.

In his childhood, King Frederik VIII of Denmark was known as "Freddy with the pretty face".   
Could "Freddy with the pretty face" also apply to Crown Prince Frederik?
