Technically, The Duke and Duchess of Vendome come from the same family that the Count and Countess of Dreux (the French/German royal couple that got married) come from, the Orleans Family. It's just that Prince Francois is the son of the Count of Evreux, whilst the Duke of Vendome is the son of the Count of Paris. :) I explained more things in the following thread:

Thank you for the article. About the only thing I've read about the Duke of Vendome is that his first engagement was called off before the marriage due to a religious difference and that his two of his elder siblings are severely disabled.
^^^ You're welcome. I didn't realise that about his engagement, although I did know about his siblings. I do believe that his brother was originally the Dauphin/Heir, although he isn't anymore due to his disability.
Yes he was the Dauphin, but that changed somewhat recently.
They are huge but here are some photos of Princess Louise-Marguerite and her siblings at her presentation. It was her christening yesterday. Her godparents are Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg, Princess Margaretha of Liechtenstein, the Duke of Luynes, Archduke Michael of Austria and Alvaro de Orleans y Borbon (source: Noblesse & Royautes).
