Zelensky is looking for MATERIAL support.However welcoming royals are such support is hardly likely to come from constitutional monarchs. Nor are leaders of the EU (whom Zelensky is really courting)likely to be impressed by banquets etc. Of course people in Europe are sympathetic to what is occurring in Ukraine. However material help in the shape of money and materials has its limits. The US has handed over billions to the Ukraine govt and this war has no end in sight. Diplomacy is no good as Russia has been treated like a pariah state by the Obama and Biden administrations for many years.
