Spanish Royals attend the funeral of Infanta Alicia

Rest in peace, Infanta Alicia. It would've been nice to see a picture of her posted in the article, but of course it's lovely to see who attended her funeral.  I like how King Felipe and Queen Letizia comforted the relatives closest to Infanta Alicia! It is always a pleasure to see the wonderful acts of kindness this couple does.

A sombre Queen Letizia today joined family members to pay her respects to King Felipe's late great-aunt, who died yesterday.

Alicia de Borbon-Parma, known as Infanta Alicia of Spain, passed away at the age of 99 and was the aunt of King Felipe's father, the former King Juan Carlos.

The Spanish Queen was seen consoling her grandson, Prince Pedro, Duke of Calabria, outside the La Paz funeral home in Madrid where her body is resting ahead of the funeral service.
