Been busy I have lots of photos of the pair of them that I have found over the net, but haven't downloaded them all in my photobucket account. I've notice there are not many pics on here of the two of them, so i'm going to start a thread with some pics of the two. Anyone else want to add any more that would be great. :)

Kezza - Thank you for these wonderful photos, none of which , I have ever seen before!!..
What a great couple!!! In some of the photos, even Princes Edwards eyes sparkle ... in glee? and Sophie is very attractive!!  Thanks again...

Those holiday shots of the couple are from July 1994 during Cowes week and they were on the Brittania during their holidays.

Sophie had trouble windsailing apparently because she had to be helped back up by security.

This is funny what you will see in these two pics. This comes from the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Manchester in 2002. You have the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Edward and Sophie sitting watching the ceremony. A stray balloon comes along and Sophie hits the balloon and it hits the Queen on the head... :faint1: :runaway: The Queen just sees the funny side of it, but Sophie's face is pricless. :lmao:

Some more of Sophie this is the earliest pic I can find of Sophie once the world knew she was Edward's girlfriend. It was taken on December the 20th 1993 just outside where Sophie worked in Mayfair London. She shocked the press by having her hair cut shorter, because when the story broke out they used an older picture of her.

Kezza do you have the one where she is walking to the Royal cruise or Yacht with the family, the Queen Mother is there with her I think, it was pretty early from what I recall in the relationship. I have it somewhere in a old Majesty or Royalty.

I do The Queen mum looks happy to see her it's at Scrabster Harbour in Scotland. The Royal Party including Sophie left to go to the Castle of Mey, which was the QM private residence.

Sophie went on a few trips with the Royal Family and Edward on that boat. She also spent a lot of time with Edward and his family from very early on in their relationship from October 1993 ? onwards until marriage at BP, Windsor Castle, Balmoral and Sandringham.

Oh wow you are gooood Kezza. I also love Pr. Edward and Sophie. I have Sophie's Kiss and their Wedding Book and their Wedding Video,also I have a video called Pr. Edward and Sophie Rhys Jones.

What year was this photo you posted, did you say 93? I remember thinking , oh she's the one when I saw it years ago.

Those balloon shots are hilarious. Here she is goofing off and having fun and the net result is the balloon hits the Queen in the head.  (I thought that stuff only happened to me!!)  I actually think it missed (as Queen's expression doesn't change)!

Thanks Kezza for your hard work! It's nice to get some pics of PE and Sophie. They seem genuinely happy together. Wishing them the best!

I agree we don't see enough of them around here. :P

I agree SG I thought she was the one for him in early 1994. They had a look of true love and happiness together, and the fact he took the time to show her the ropes very early on. Says to me he saw her as his wife and not just a girlfriend and he had matured when it came to having a relationship, because she also had a few boyfriends before Edward so she was mature also.

I don't think with his previous relationships he was mature enough with, and it's interesting he claims he is still friends with his Ex Girlfriends. Don't know of thats true or not, or he gets told to be friends with them so they don't talk? I guess it didn't work with Ruthie and another of his previous girlfriends who hooked up with James Hewitt and got heavily into cocaine with James Hewitt. I'm not sure I believed both girls claims though for various reasons and gut feelings, the latter one I think talked or made stuff up because she got caught with a large amount of Cocaine on her more than what was for personal use, and needed to try and get her way out of her mess with Hewitt and the drugs.

The other one Ruthie I don't know about her I find it odd despite her being at Edward and Sophie's wedding, that when she has talked about her past relationship with Edward, she fails to mention him moving on and marrying Sophie both times. She didn't mention it five years ago when she talked about having a two year relationship with Edward, she said she was really in love with him and he was with her. She talked about her moving on, but doesn't mention he has moved on either with Sophie. Forward another five years again she talks about her relationship with Edward only the difference is the the time frame, and she doesn't again mention the fact he was with Sophie late 1993, and that he married Sophie a few years latter. My gut feeling is she hasn't accepted or delt with the fact yet he moved on from her in 1993 and met Sophie who he did fall in love with, and married her about six years latter. He may of been friends with her after he met Sophie, but maybe she did see it like that, and has interpreted it as to being something more on her part. From what I have read she has had a lot of issues going on in her life stuff that if true would be very hard to deal with.
