Virginia Guiffre?s lawyers have intimated that they want this thing to go to trial now. However I can still see a settlement as a distinct possibility. Certainly if the rumours are true that the Queen is unwilling to bankroll Andrew?s legal expenses for too much longer something?s going to have to give. Now the sale of the chalet is going ahead Andrew may have a few million to offer in settlement. However, I think the other side?s lawyers can smell blood and a couple of million isn?t going to be acceptable imo.

I agree that a settlement is likely to be offered but perhaps not accepted.

As for his former wife and his daughters, yes I understand that they believe he's been unfairly targeted. However have any one of the trio who support or are the patrons of organizations devoted to stopping human trafficking ever confronted him regarding his relationships with Epstein and Maxwell?

I hope that Jack and Edo are going to be there to support their wives but more importantly to also bring home some truths about Andrew's behavior over the decades.  :notamused:

I have to agree with the author, that Andrew needs not only bow out of royal/public life, pay the settlement and announce publicly that he's an idiot  but also he needs to go to a remote place dedicated where he can design and build his own golf course. BTW I believe that the Commonwealth should either boycott his residence in any one of their nations and he can go live in one of his favorite former Soviet republics. He has a relationship with many of their new "czars." Sarah can opt to go with him as well to do her Instagram  channel where she dresses up in costumes and reads children's stories  They  can return for visits with their daughters and their families and when the time comes be discreetly brought in from a WA side entrance to sit at his mother's funeral. That's it. Full stop.

Thank you @Macrobug67 and @sara8150 for the updates.  IMVHO  this was the reasonable and correct step to be taken. As with the previous decisions taken regarding the DoY, I believe that HM sought the input of the PoW, DoCam, as well as the EoW and PssR.

As for seeking testimony from members of the BRF who reside in the U.S., I doubt that it will be sought.

The BBC reports HMQ and Prince William held talks yesterday at Windsor Castle regarding Andrew's titles and Charles later signed off on their removal.

This means his honorary military ranks and the remaining royal patronages I presume. It would hardly have come as a surprise to him. This has been hanging over the RF for at least two years. A slight surprise, considering that the trial hasn?t even begun yet, is the removal of Andrew?s HRH. However, no-one wants to see him appearing at any sort of royal functions in Jubilee year, and it was best it was done now rather than later.

Yes Duke of York will not be in public or support his mother the Queen Elizabeth II platinum jubilee this June due his mom stripped HRH and military titles due investigation of Jeffrey Epstein and his ex girlfriend really bad influence and he is so idiot!!
