[AbsolutelyWilliam] Princess to open sailing club




The Princess Royal will officially open a sailing club in Staffordshire which has undergone an ?800,000 facelift.

Princess Anne will open the Rudyard Lake Sailing Club on 27 June.

Members of the club have spent six years and thousands of pounds renovating their premises.

The work has been funded by a lottery grant and sponsorship from various organisations including Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.

One of the main features of the new glass and steel structure is that it offers disabled access to visitors.

The revamped building has been recognised by the Royal Yachting Association as a base for training courses.
