Registered but never logged in or post

so sorry but i have a quick question. could the members that register but never logged on or posted be deleted, and would that help at all with our problems and the amount of storage our forum has?

Two database tables take up most of the storage space for the forum - the posts and the PMs. Member files and other tables don't cause a problem.

Jen has posted about PMs and I will add a thread on posts.
