Well I'm going to put Europe because I'd love to be a European.
And where's Oceania?
East Texas
Thankyou.
There are several interpretations to Oceania but it's usually the Australia, its territories, NZ and most other smaller Pacific islands
Well we aussies would be calling it closer to South Pacific.
I've not heard it being Oceania.
You live in Oceania, Lindelle.
Oceania is not a commonly used term in the USA either Lindelle, but I have understood it to be the area encompassing Australia, New Zealand, and the surrounding Pacific Islands.
Dear ole' blighty
No option for me. :windsor: :catfight:
Would that be North or South Pole? :P :teehee:

It's actually the Caribbean. :P I don't like the fact that we're usually lumped together with either North or South America. Our culture and history is way too different to be considered collectively.

It's a small country just across the British Channel north of France, south of the Netherlands and in the east of Germany. :doublewave:
We have three official languages: Flemish/Dutch, French and German (I speak all of these plus English :yesss:)
We have about 10! different Parliaments and for the moment no official government! They're still arguing about forming a new one after the last elections...... three months ago! :cursingmad:  (Get on with it already! It's getting rather ridiculous, I mean just shake hands and be nice to each other OK! :P)
All in all a very diverse and interesting place to live in!

Hey Cindy, I'm a southerner too
I'm from Iceland. So Europe has a four vote lead now ... no votes yet from Africa or South America.
technically I live in north America, since Canada, USA and Mexico form "north America"
but if i say I am north American you would think I am from the USA
I am Mexican. but could not vote in the poll since the misunderstanding i comment.
so, I'm not from central America neither south America, nor the Caribbean
but you could say I am latin !
If you look to the right of the map, almost to the bottom, there I am in Newcastle.
Mar,
You totally could have put N. American . I think you should vote.
We north Americans need to stick together here :) :flower:
though I understand where are coming from.

hehehe México is the country of no place :P
As i know part is in North America and part is in Center America(the south) lucky i was born in center México so that means i am also from North America.
Well, I must thank Raisie and Mar for bringing us North Americans up to tie with the Europeans!!

I'm from the west coast of Canada, so I won't be seeing the newlyweds when they visit in July...but I'm betting now that Kate will be wearing a red outfit on July 1. The Queen always makes it a point - if she is in Canada on July 1 (Canada Day) - to wear a red outfit.
A big :hi: to everyone!

A red outfit eh? Kate does seem to really like red, that might be a possibility!
Red outfit. I'll remember that. :)
When I saw Kate in her red suit, it was the first thing I thought of - that she might follow the Queen's lead in this matter.
The Queen always wear the same red as the red maple leaf in the Canadian flag (if she is in Canada on July 1, Canada Day). It's quite striking - because normally the Queen doesn't wear a lot of red.
Anyway, thank you for the warm welcome. :)
:welcome: CanRoyal! I hope you enjoy your time with us!
Notably you've gone from a Lurker (and a potential Stalker) to a Loyal Subject - a few more posts and you'll be a courtier! How quickly things change

I am from the States - the state of Connecticut, which is on the east coast, east of New York and south of Massachusetts.
How I found myself here (virtually here I mean) starts with the fact that my cable provider provides BBC world news, which I find to be much more informative than domestic news sources. It is a news service for ex-pat Brits, so it naturally has a lot of British news, in addition to world news. I follow British poltics, having been known to avidly watch the PM's Questions. So I developed royalty envy - imagine, a monarch who is simply interested in what is best for the people. - No self interest in being reelected, or getting money to run a campaign or opposing a policy simply because the opposition is for it...
I watched every hour of the royal wedding on tv. I followed the recent tour by Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge online via the Daily Telegraph's live feed. I greatly admire the royals for their service to Great Britain and the Commonwealth.
I look forward to posting and learning more about the royals.

I just found out that my great grandfather on my dad's side was 100% Cherokee Indian.
cool
I'm a Belgian citizen but I got Polish, German and Hungarian roots all from my grandparents so I feel more European then Belgian (WWI &II brought them together and I'm the final result of that mix. :hehe:)
You sound like a lovely mix Akasha
It's funny, because several monthes ago I had a coworker ask me "What I was" and when I asked her to clarify she said 'Well, you're not white, right? I mean, not totally."
And, as it turns out, she was right

Welcome Undolaure!
Hi I've missed you guys! I live in Alabama in the U.S. and you may recall that we had some terrible tornados here last year. Actually the tornado went thru 1 day before Will & Kate's wedding but my lovely twin sis had my family to stay at her house (we didn't have power for 4 or 5 days) and we celebrated the wedding together while our husbands wondered what on earth we were doing up before dawn watching tv! Kara and I have both wondered what happened to this webite because it was MIA for a while so I'm so glad to see you are up and running! :vday4:

Hi catwindsor!
Welcome to the Forum :welcome:
Hi everyone. I'm from Toronto, Canada.
Hi Sharli - Welcome! - Have fun posting!
Hey Sharli welcome to our Forum!!!
...I am proud to be from the State of Louisiana in the good old U.S.A......In the deep South where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter; summer starts in April; front porches are wide and words are long; macaroni and cheese is a vegetable; pecan pie is a staple; Y'all is the only proper pronoun; chicken is fried and biscuits come w/ gravy; , everything is darling and someone is always getting their heart blessed.... Have a good day y'all!.....
^I could get used to Pecan Pie being a staple :yesss:
Although I am happy to be from a state where
iced tea doesn't have sugar in it.

Sorry, Lothwen ... I just saw this. Yes, they're part of the Karuk tribe up by the Oregon border. It's a very small tribe. Do you know where that is?
(Pecan pie is pretty much a staple down where I am. It's way, way sweet!!)
Cindy
I love pecan pies and pecan sweet rolls, but my father and grandmother hate them. One time I got a pecan sweet roll for breakfast and they went on for 5 minutes about how they hate them, while I was sitting right next to them!
Cindy, they're about an hour northwest of me
^^ I plan to visit them in the next year or two. Have you ever been up there? One of my brothers told me that they're being allowed to open a casino, and it's now a matter of finding the means to do so.
Cindy
I live in England, but my grandmother and her family were Irish. :)
I'm a mixture, Mother from Tralee, Dad from Battersea.
I'm from the U.S.A., as my username says! I live in New York City! :happy15: :happy15: :happy15: :happy15: :happy15: :happy15: :happy15: :happy15:
^I loved New York. I got to visit there 3 times to visit my ex-boyfriend.
Does anybody else think it's interesting that the majority of people who post on a royals thread are Americans?
I live between London, Scotland and new york, eventhough I was born in new york but my hubby was born in London to Scottish dad and Australia mom that is why I live in England with our son. but I do miss new york a lot and wish I was there but my job and my hubby would not allow it... Hello to my fellow New Yorker and Americans!!!
Live in England. I have mainly English, Australian, Irish, Welsh, French and Spanish heritage, if you can call it that.

Hi Jen. Yes. It's pretty warm here. But so is London right now.
And according to my app New York is 31C right now, much warmer than here.
^It's 34C where I am. :snob:
Phew. It's only 23C here now. The hottest temperature in London I suffered was 32C and that was too much much for my modem which stopped working.
A cool 23ºC here right now, not too bad. Tomorrow is set to get warmer though.

Welcome to the forum Lady DeJohn and derryodell :D
I live on Oceania, and in New Zealand.
I am a proud Canadian, new to the internet. And before you ask, I stumbled across your site, God knows where or how. I have been reading this site, off and on, for several months and, in comparison to several sites dealing with Royalty, find it to be a nice mix of cynicism, reality, and romanticism. I am a particular fan--hope I don't offend anyone--of Jmax, many of whose posts echo my sentiments, which is odd to be sure, given that I generally--well, now Im sure I will offend someone--disagree with Americans. But thats just part and parcel of being a Canadian, living next-door to a superpower. Makes one suspicious.
I am delighted to be part of your ongoing discussions, altho I rather doubt that I will be a frequent poster.-- My internet skills are very limited; I have no idea, for instance, how to use the many above symbols, and am not at all sure that I might want to.
Altho you haven't asked, I am neither a republican--Americans spend far too much time and money electing their presidents--nor a monarchist; I do dislike, however, being one of the Realm States, altho its less expensive. I guess Im looking for a third way, without much luck.
Welcome Lady Jaye :hi:
If you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to ask

I am from Belgium
Welcome to the forum! Belgium recently got itself a new King and Queen. How do you feel about that?
I currently reside in New Smyrna Beach, FL., which is where my husband and I came to retire in 1986. He passed away in 1996. I call myself a delegate at large, since I am a military brat. I have traveled quite a bit, and then after graduation from high school, I always wanted to work at the Pentagon. Well, I worked there for 15 years. I was born at RAF Sculthorpe and we also lived there at Norfolk. I left when I was very young. I have been back to England, but not to Norfolk. Eventually. My passion is traveling. I have traveled to at least 70 countries so far. I was also in the Army reserve for a short stint, which is where I met my husband.
I am from Austria (exactly Styria) :)
I'm living in Southern California.
^Is that where you're from, or where you are currently living?
Hi everyone. I'm from Austalia, but I migrated here from England and go there quite often.

Welcome! :doublewave: My maternal family was originally from Ireland, too, although they moved to England in Victorian times.
Whereabouts in Ireland, HP? My Mum is from Tralee.
^^^ Not much is known about where exactly, although everyone thinks they originally came from the South, but apparently they were from the North instead. However me and my mother still believe that they came from the South to escape the Potato Famine.
Awww, we could be related HP  What's yours is mine and what's mine is my own. :love6:
^^^ It's a small world! I wish I knew more about the Irish side of my family.

HI! I'm Kaye and new to this forum. Over the years, I've lurked at different royal forum sites. I've always been interested in news and pictures of different royals but I've never had the urged to post stuff until recently. Especially w/ regards to the Prince Harry and Meghan stories, it has really bugged me that even legit magazines like Vogue have resorted to gossip-like articles. I'm happy there are places like this for people like me to speak my thoughts. :)
Welcome to the forum... I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Harry stories!
