Queen SofĂ­a of Spain (85) has been hospitalized due to a urinary tract infection. Her situation is rapidly improving, but she will remain admitted to the medical center for observation.

That's great news! Lovely wedding, now first child. Everything going very well, in spite of the conflict in the area.

Royal Decree 374/2024, of April 9, by which the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabel the Catholic is awarded to Her Royal Highness Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands.

The appointment comes ahead of the state visit from Spain to The Netherlands

The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first baby this summer.

Ms Joanne McPhail was received by The King upon her appointment as British High Commissioner to the Gabonese Republic.

Dr Alastair McPhail was also received by His Majesty.

Mr Alastair Long was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Mrs Long was also received by His Majesty.
Mrs Alison Thorpe was received by The King upon her appointment as British High Commissioner-designate to the Republic of Rwanda.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers, this afternoon received Mr Patrick Tyrrell upon relinquishing his appointment as Master and Mr Keith Bottomley upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon opened Tideway's Chelsea Quay, Chelsea Embankment, London SW3, and was received by General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this evening attended the Seventieth Anniversary of Re-Hallowing Service at St Olave's Church, 8 Hart Street, London EC3, followed by a Reception at Trinity House, Trinity Square, London EC3.
