Really great to see Prince William back out and helping people in this charity.  He seemed moved by the lady who gave him the cards for his wife and dad, that will always be there till they are back out at events with the people. Maybe this is a sign that Catherine is getting better so he can be back on the job.

Why did Portuguese law forbade Queen Maria I of Portugal from marrying a foreign prince?

Because women were regarded as 'the weaker vessel'in those days and a Queen would be a puppet to any foreigner with ambitions to direct Portuegese foreign policy etc. So instead, Maria kept it in the family and followed the totally disgusting Hapsburg custom of marrying close relatives, in her case her uncle, her father's younger brother. They were reasonably happily married though.

Glad that there are programs to reduce food waste and feed those who face food insecurity.

This is a great organization for him to bring attention to. It's wonderful to highlight people and groups who are showing practical ways that help others in need.
