Castle Hedingham is in Essex of England. Its vast stone tower was built in 1140 by Aubrey de Vere III to celebrate his elevation to the earldom of Oxford.   
The 28 foot traverse in the Banqueting Hall at Hedingham is one of the largest arches inn England.
