QuoteUnlike many other royalties in this period, King Felipe of Spain is not on holiday. On the contrary, he is busy meeting with many important people and attending various events. As late as this past Monday, he had the pleasure of meeting many ambassadors from countries all over the world, all being assigned in Spain.

Today, he was receiving guests once again, but this time it was at his private residence, Palace of Zarzuela, in the outskirts of the Spanish capital, Madrid. Also different from the day before, the average age of the guests had dropped quite a bit, since most of them were youngsters.

Thus, King Felipe welcomed all the young people, who are participating in the cultural program Ruta BBVA, a global cultural project, which works to optimise and improve life quality for humans and in society as a whole.

Yes, it does seem that Felipe (and Letizia) has been very busy lately.

Crown Prince Frederik is also back to work now after his summer holidays. IIRC the schools start in August in Denmark.

I think King Felipe and Queen Letizia always work very hard and put a lot of great effort into their royal jobs. They are diligent.  Spain is very fortunate to have them as King and Queen.
