It is odd for this article to state that the new Queen of Spain film is a comedy-drama. She would not show her support this movie if it was about making fun of her. Maybe the director is just using that particular title and the story has nothing to do with Queen Letizia or the other Queens of Spain that lived before her. Anyways, I think Penelope Cruz and Queen Letizia looked great together in the pictures on the set.

QuotePenelope Cruz's latest film is called The Queen Of Spain.

So it was apt that Spanish royal Queen Letizia should pay a visit to the Hollywood beauty on set, offering her official seal of approval to the upcoming comedy-drama, La Reina De EspaƱa.

The 43-year-old monarch appeared on great terms with Penelope as the actress showed her around the Madrid set earlier this month, appearing deep in conversation as they discussed the shoot.

As far as I know the film is not in any way about Queen Letizia. Also comedy-drama doesn't mean it's making fun of anyone, it just means there are comedic elements to the story...

The film had to be about another "Queen of Spain".  Letizia was only queen for about two years, so a film about her would be too early.
