Yes, I agree, LF. I do think Princess Anne is like both her parents. She is pragmatic (like her mother) and dutiful, not allowing anything short of a direct hit to deter her from a Royal engagement. She showed her courage when she was about to be kidnapped by that strange individual in London when she was young, and of course by her Olympics endeavours.

 Court Circular 9th November:
The Princess Royal this afternoon received the Ambassador from the Republic of Korea (His Excellency Mr. Joonkook Hwang).

Court Circular 10th November:
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon departed London for Belgium and was received later upon arrival at Kortrijk-Wevelgem International Airport by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium (Her Excellency Mrs. Alison Rose).

Court Circular 11th November:
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements in Belgium.

Her Royal Highness this morning visited Talbot House, Poperinge.

The Princess Royal later attended the Armistice Day Service at the Menin Gate, Ieper (Ypres).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Tyne Cot Cemetery, Zonnebeke.

The Princess Royal later visited the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Workshops, Ieper (Ypres).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Bedford House Cemetery, Ieper (Ypres).

The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence later arrived in London from Belgium.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were present this evening at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were also present.

Court Circular 12th November:
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were present this morning during the Ceremony at the Cenotaph on the occasion of Remembrance Day. Wreaths were also laid by The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge, Prince Henry of Wales, The Duke of York, The Earl of Wessex, The Princess Royal and The Duke of Kent. The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duchess of Cambridge, The Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were present during the Ceremony.

Princess Royal honours Elsie Inglis in Edinburgh - Edinburgh Evening News
