King Bhumibol enjoys a magnificent view of Bangkok

On Friday, Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej took a rare trip to the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall. The convention hall is located quite close to the Siriraj Hospital, where the Thai King is currently staying.

According to Thai media, Thai people who had heard of the King's plans had gathered along the route in the hopes of cathing a glimpse of their beloved king. As he passed in his car, people were shouting 'Long Live the King!'.

Well arrived at the Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall, King Bhumibol, sitting in a wheelchair, admired the stunning view from the convention hall. From there, it's possible to see many landmarks of the Thai capital, including the Grand Palace. There's also a magnificent view over the Chao Phraya River.
