Apparently news from the Danish court has come that Prince Henrik does not wish to be interred in the grand sarcophagus that is being constructed for his wife and himself. In fact he doesn't want to be buried next to his wife at all. Whether this is another one of Prince Henrik's tantrums or a considered decision is unknown. Queen Margrethe is said to have accepted the decision.

Rumours have apparently been flying for some time that the royal couple have split up for the most part and that Henrik wishes to be buried in France, his homeland. This must be heartbreaking for Queen Daisy, and is a slap in the face to the Danish nation and DRF from this incredibly vain and spoiled brat of a Prince. Danes will probably say 'good riddance' and his popularity will be gone. This is a terrible decision and I hope he changes his mind.

Sounds like they are semi separated.  Perhaps he just doesn't want to lie in Denmark, but with his own family in France?  it may well be that she is OK with it, if she feels he really wants this.  However he should have said nothing.
