The crown, the sceptre, the orb and the key are the principal regal symbols for the country and the monarch as Head of State.

At coronations and religious ceremonies at the royal court, such as baptisms and funerals for example, the crown, sceptre, orb and key are placed on a special regalia table to highlight the importance of the event.

The regalia are state property

King Oscar II was the last King of Sweden to have a coronation. The year was 1873.
