EXCLUSIVE: Pushy Princess Michael of Kent is gagged by royals | Royal | News | Daily Express

OUTSPOKEN Princess Michael of Kent has been banned from giving interviews amid fears she might embarrass the Royal Family while promoting her next book.

The extraordinary move follows her past comments branding older royals "boring" and Princess Diana as "uneducated".

Dubbed Princess Pushy, she has a history of headline-grabbing comments when promoting her books on European royalty.

In the astonishing outburst in January she told disgraced media tycoon Conrad Black, who has served time in a US jail for fraud: "I think the older generation are a bit boring for most people."

Last night a royal insider said: "The second volume of her book is due out in the autumn but the powers that be at Buckingham Palace do not want a repeat performance so she is not allowed to do any interviews.

"The comments about older royals being boring and Princess Diana being uneducated were deemed to be the last straw."
"To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing." --Elbert Hubbard, American writer

"You don't have to be pretty. You don't owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don't owe it to your mother, you don't owe it to your children, you don't owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked 'female'." Diana Vreeland.

^^Wasnt it Prince Philip's cousin, if you mean the woman who said Diana had made Charles's life a misery etc, etc? I thnk that was Pamela Hicks, Lord Mountbatten's daughter when she was publicising a book she'd written.

The one that spoke recently, it seems gag orders don't include trashing Diana only the royals important to HM.
