All his life, Prince Charles had been the center of attention.
However, the more beautiful and sophisticated Diana became, the more she drew the crowds.
After the birth of Prince Henry, they were abundantly coming out, not to see him, but to see Princess Diana.

Prince Charles had declared that a marriage was a partnership where his wife was simply not marrying the man but a way of life.

@Duch_Luver_4ever, That is a grand remark that Diana Frances had amazing charisma and love-ability that radiated from her.

Is it safe to conclude that the more Princess Diana would shun the attention, the more the press would go after her?

In January 1988 Prince Charles and Princess Diana flew to Australia to take part in Australia's bicentennial celebrations in Sydney. Charles felt upstaged by Diana. In Sydney on the first day Diana sang the words of Australia's national anthem Advance, Australia Fair. Her husband did not know the words.

We all remember why he was resting at highgrove instead of KP, dont we  :fuming: imagine seeing your children by fax machine  can you imagine Diana telling the kids, "come 'round the fax machine, daddy wants to say hi" horrible >(
What would Prince Charles have done if the fax machine had not been invented?

Princess Diana was still the center of attention as she stepped out in a green and white polka-dot smock dress with a white sailor collar while pregnant with Prince William. She wore the maternity dress just two weeks before giving birth to William in June 1982.
