Polls are not reality.

We already knew they were with W&K at Amner along with George's godparents, PP was out carriage driving yesterday. PP stopped hunting a while back.

Quote
William and Kate had quite a few friends with them at Church - likely there for her birthday - including James and Lady Laura Meade, Thomas van Straubenzee, and the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley

For you, but professionally speaking; PR gurus, Marketing & Sales experts, Politicians campaigning, Product placements use polls. The accuracy to pin point what to do is the best method.

The day the world discovers a better method than polls to improve or turn negatives to positives, see what the majority think, like, etc.  for sure it will be replaced, but so far Polls are the go to instrument.

To give them a better idea of which way to go but not the same thing as accurate.

It is the most accurate instrument to date, as I said when the world discovers a better system to pin point majority versus minority in anything item or popularity contest, Polls will be replaced, but so far, this is what is used by the biggest to the smallest Government, Organizations, Institutuions, Corporations, Enterprises, Companies, Individuals, etc.

Polls are not accurate. Hillary Clinton in all polls was a "sure thing." And look how that turned out!

Untrue, each state polled before the elections...but all the states polled had Trump winning.

Political campaigners tied to news (owner of news site stance and favorite), It is best to look at the 'bigger picture', translate that to USA map (news site neutrality, like the BBC which has to be neutral, government owned station by another country and respectable), rather than 1 state that is favorable to Clinton (or Trump for that matter)...

As you also may know or not, in USA elections, the state of Florida has always been crucial or problem, depends on how you see it, the politician that wins Florida has always made the difference.   See the Red in Florida, that's Trump.

Hillary C. had a speech prepared. Some friends in Europe were super sure Hillary would win based on those polls.

Poor her really, not only the Florida matter, but the FBI scandal hit her at last hours....

For those who still do not understand the " electorate college" representation for each state in the USA, Florida has 29, versus other states that have much less numbers of electorate college, so If Hillary's Blue represented her as a winner in varios/many states, just by winning Florida with 29....oops. (The link of the map, check the Blue Hillary, Red Trump, see the electorate college of Florida = 29) For future polls/elections/USA, watch for Florida.

Hillary ended up losing some states where she was projected winning. The news media said she was guaranteed to have all the electoral votes she needed and Trump would never reach the required number.

Trump even thought he was going to lose because of the polls.

Yes @wannable it did come down to those battleground states and Florida with its high number of electoral college numbers has been a game changer in recent elections.
