Last post by Kristeh-H - Today at 01:39:35 PMMy feelings are that heads of state and top ranking government officials are justified in using private transportation for security reasons. In countries with a monarchy, I would include the sovereign's spouse, heir and spouse, and minor children. Although I do think it can be over-used. As much as I like the Wales, I'll admit I don't approve of taking private helicopters off to Amner Hall, unless maybe it was a rare thing.
But for purely private citizens to lecture others while not holding themselves to the same standards does smack of hypocrisy.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust, this afternoon attended a Coronation Fund Appeal Supporters' Lunch at Wells Cathedral School, the Liberty, Wells, Somerset.
The Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards visited the Trails Trust at Hazel Manor, Nordrach Lane, Priddy, Somerset.
