Did they discuss at this meeting where the next Commonwealth Games is to be held in 2026? Because, ever since the Andrews Govt here in Victoria decided not to proceed in Melbourne because of the vast expense, (something any competent people in authority should have realised BEFORE agreeing to it) the next Games has been handed around various cities of the Commonwealth like a game of 'Pass the Parcel'. The UK, NZ, Singapore, Ghana, etc etc. All knocked it back. Now Glasgow is the latest victim (as a 'last resort' location). Apparently hardly prestigious, is it?

The Princess Royal, Guardian, the Chaffinch Trust, this afternoon attended a Reception at the Reform Club, 104 Pall Mall, London SW1, and was received by Mr Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, later attended a Graduation Ceremony at the Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London EC2.

The Princess Royal, Commandant-in-Chief, First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal's Volunteer Corps), this evening presented Coronation Medals at Wellington Barracks, London SW1.
