Royal palaces and sites see baby bump in visitors as the world waits | Royal | News | Daily Express

QuoteROYAL PALACES and attractions are witnessing a huge increase in the number of visitors as the world awaits the birth of the second royal baby.

As the heavily pregnant Duchess of Cambridge prepared for the imminent arrival at Kensington Palace this weekend, ticket sales to that and other royal residences rose by a third.

vSince the start of April, visitor numbers to attractions including Windsor Castle and the Tower of London have risen by 36 per cent, according to online ticket specialists AttractionTix.co.uk.

Spokesman Simon Applebaum said: "Since the announcement of the forthcoming royal baby we've monitored numbers at our royal attractions. We suspected the birth would give the nation another excuse to show their affection for the Royal Family and the attractions associated with them.

"Though the due date of the second royal baby has never been confirmed, we predicted a 45 per cent increase, in light of our fellow Britons continuing to support our heritage and monarchy."

Prince William was by his wife's side this weekend but returns to work tomorrow. The 32-year-old Prince is training to be an air ambulance pilot at three airports, Staverton in Gloucestershire, Norwich and Cambridge.

So they predict and have predicted but it hasn't happened...
"You don't have to be pretty. You don't owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your co-workers, especially not to random men on the street. You don't owe it to your mother, you don't owe it to your children, you don't owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked 'female'."
