A totally appropriate position for the eldest son and heir.

I remember how well he spoke about his mother in 2002 - 'Your Majesty - Mummy' simply brought the house down.  I was a lovely, touching moment between a mother and her son and a soveriegn and a subject.  The speech was wonderful - and I loved how he kissed her at the end and she simply smiled - the smile of a proud mother in the speech of her son but also the smile of a humble woman at the acknowledgement of the crowds.

^I agree, Windsor, and Prince Charles is a very good speaker, IMO.
