King Felipe learns about fruit protection at factory

Spain's King Felipe got to know the technology and innovative ideas behind the protection of fruits and vegetables when he on Friday toured a factory and talked to workers at the successful Spanish company Tecnidex in Valencia that takes care of fruit and vegetables like a doctor to his patients.

King Felipe was there to celebrate the company's 35th anniversary and to open Farmapost, the first pharmacy in the world dedicated to horticultural products on the premises of Tecnidex.

Dressed in a white lab coat, the King was introduced to some of the large machines as he explored the factory with a group of people, including the President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Alberto Fabra, and Isabel García Tejerina who is the Spanish Minister for Agriculture, Food and Environmental Affairs.
