What was served to the guests of Charles and Diana on the Royal Wedding Day in 1981?

I am surprised. This is a very simple menu for such a grand occasion. I quite like poached crumbed fish, done with a tomato dressing I presume, because of the 'cardinal'. Also, ripe strawberries and cream are always luscious. Nor so sure about chicken stuffed with finely ground lamb though. A bit too meat-loaded for me. Hope there were plenty of vegs with it. Nice of them to honour Diana with it though!

Something a bit different. An account of the food and drink served at the reception/wedding breakfast following William and Kate's wedding as well as the table decorations etc. It all sounds wonderful. And both William and Harry spoke about their mother in their speeches.

Just have a read. It's good value.
