I've been thinking about Diana a lot this month and how she was taken much too soon, before her boys were grown. It's a pity it rained today, but it gave those of us who don't get to see the White garden just a glimpse. I wonder what her sons' thoughts were as they walked around and spoke to gardeners, one of whom could remember her, and then met workers from her charities. Harry works for the anti Landmine charity and William for Marsden etc., and that's the way to best remember Diana, isn't it? To try to do good in the world and help others as she did.

Nice for the gardening staff who remember their mother to take time out of their day to be able to meet with the brothers and Kate. The design and execution of this white garden tribute is so lovely.

^^^In addition to the white roses the following flowering plants were also incorporated into the design:he White Garden is the result of a transformation that features several of the late princess's favorite plants and was inspired by her work, image and style, including her famous white "Elvis" Catherine Walker dress.
Open since spring this year, the garden contains white roses, lilies, gladioli and cosmos flowers. The transformed garden will continue into September.

More flowers for Harry's KP garden plot it seems! After touring the Garden yesterday he asked if some could be saved for him to tend after the summer season is over. He's interested in gardening and I'm sure it's a bond between himself and his father.

It is good that Harry's taking an active interest in what plants and flowers are being planted in his mother's garden, and hopefully that will continue. From what I saw, it all looks magnificent IMO, and good on the gardeners for taking such a lot of care and trouble.

It really is a nice tableaux (I mean the garden). Yes, Harry seems to have inherited the green fingers of his dad. I think even had a stand at the Royal Horticultural Show which is family visited.
