Queen Letizia delivers Youth Literature Awards

Her Majesty Queen Letizia of Spain delivered the Children's and Youth Literature Awards yesterday evening in Madrid; the awards are in their 33rd year. They are granted on behalf of the SM Foundation which, according to Casa Real, "to promote literature for children and young people, a taste for reading and spreading human, social, cultural or religious values ​​that help build a dignified world."

Casa Real added, "They are awarded annually and currently have a prize of 35,000 euros and the commitment to edit and publish the works that are a creditor to the awards of each contest."

Authors from the nine countries where the SM Group is present were eligible to receive the awards. These countries include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

It's always a pleasure to read news about King Felipe and Queen Letizia! They looked superb at the literary awards ceremony. I think they compliment each other well. It's amazing how much charisma this couple has. I imagine when people see them at events, they think of them as an ideal couple.

It is not often that we see royal couples engaging in public displays of affection, but a loved up Queen Letizia couldn't help but cosy up to her husband this afternoon.

The Spanish royal, 44, joined King Felipe VI, 49, in Madrid as they attended the Cervantes Awards Ceremony on Thursday.

As they arrived at the University of Alcala de Henares where the ceremony was held, Letizia could be seen linking arms with her husband in an affectionate gesture.
