Princess Clementine of Belgium (1872-1955) was the daughter of King Leopold II of Belgium. She married Napoléon Victor Bonaparte, the Bonapartist pretender to the imperial throne of France.

It was interesting that King Leopold II did not like the idea of Clementine marrying Prince Victor Napoléon. The King instructed the police to keep a strict guard on Princess Clementine to prevent her eloping with Victor Napoléon.

Clementine's birth on July 30, 1872, was a bitter disappointment to her parents, especially her father. Following the demise of their son in 1869, they had hoped for another male heir.
