Powderham Castle is in Kenton, England. It is the family home of the Earl and Countess of Devon. Sir Philip Courtenay had Powderham Castle built in 1391.

The manor of Powderham is named from the ancient Dutch word polder. Polder means the hamlet of the reclaimed marsh-land.
