Throughout October, royals from around the world converged on the United States - privvy to luke warm receptions and almost no local media coverage.

Most Americans are aware that Britain's Prince Harry is in our midst - spending 6 weeks in military training exercises (and royal-bachelor-exploits) in Arizona and California. But other royals, like Prince Haakon and Prince Daniel, have hardly made a ripple upon arriving in the States.

Their Majesties King Carl Gustav IX and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended The Polar Music Prize in Stockholm. Also attending the event where Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden.

Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess of Sweden looked radiant in a navy blue floor-length dress with her baby bump starting to appear for all to see. The royal couple recently announced they were expecting their first child.

It is the first time the Crown Princess has been seen in public with her baby bump clearly visible.

The Royal Court of Sweden has announced that Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden are expecting their first child.

Her Royal Highness is expected to continue with her public engagements well into the very last days of her pregnancy. The Princess is expected to give birth sometime in March 2012.

Once born, the child will be second in the line of succession to the Swedish throne.
